So, today’s run was solo (the other runner didn’t make it) and quite exhilarating. I saw with my soles today! This morning’s run had a section that was pitch dark and the light from my tiny torch just lit up enough space for a step or two. That’s when my feet became my eyes.

In all likelihood, I will probably get slower until I complete a cycle of running barefoot in all seasons. In the meanwhile, I’m looking at working on improving form. I did play with a little speed towards the end just to see how the soles take it. All good. The trick is to lift the feet and not spring off them. Keeps the skin on them 👣. And it feels like flying!

The Barefoot Marathon is calling!
