A very dear friend was over for a few days and we had a mini holiday of sorts. Some unexpected retail therapy, gardening and yoga amidst work and chores.
A hard 7k on Saturday followed by an easy 6k on Sunday with a friend over the weekend.
Running a bit faster than my usual pace brings on little groans from the structurally imbalanced areas. So it boils down to checking on how to fix that while maintaining speed. I wasn’t very interested in speed but now find myself having wild thoughts of being a faster runner. My brain says, “Be reasonable, it’s too late to start thinking of being fast” and my heart goes, “Dream crazy, it just might come true.”
Took a break from running for a few days and now I feel like sleeping in tomorrow as well.
