A rusty run that had to be done. Slower than slow but there were no monkeys on the way. Some days it is easier to tame the mind.

On my walk back home, I saw another runner who was so light on his feet that it looked like he was running two inches above the ground. His hands moved as though they were pushing the air, kind of like the action in swimming. He was quite fast but his running seemed calm and it was beautiful to watch. I don’t think he’s a regular in this area as I have seen him very few times, almost always on the weekend.

Although I finished my run, I started running again just to check the difference between how my arms move currently and how his arms were moving. The effort required was lesser as compared to how my arms move normally. There was less tension in the shoulders as well. Something to try out.
