Today was an active recovery day. After yesterday’s 18.8k run, I thought I might be sore but was pain free. The neck was also OK. I used a liniment oil last night to soothe it.
I did end up getting out of the house in the morning as my little girl was excited about running with the kids in the local running group. Somehow, I’ve found myself in their company more often now.
Home yoga practice in the evening. Standing asanas. I find balance a struggle and usually tend to do a bare minimum but experimented with them today. My alignment leaves a lot to be desired but I persist in the belief that it will fall in place one day. For that I just need to do a little today.
After I finished, the little tightness in my knee was gone.
