Finally a break. The fever is gone, the throat doesn’t make me cry and I’m hungry again. Made it to yoga class today and it was very interesting.
Keeping the climate in mind, the teachers take us through asanas that alleviate the imbalances. While it’s a rigorous practice, it’s also one that leaves me invigorated by the end of the class.
Today the focus was on padangusht asanas and it’s variations, forward bends and shoulder stands.
Some of the asanas look deceptively simple but aligning everything is hard work. It uses all kinds of muscles at a very deep level.
