It’s dark in the mornings and I’m hesitant to get out early even though I’m up. Soon, I’ll have to run after the kids are off. Maybe a good opportunity to get rid of the vestigial self-consciousness.

Most of my runs lately have been about getting back into the habit and I’d like to be regular instead of “getting back into running”. With a fixed yoga schedule in place, I’m hoping to run at least 4 days a week without needing additional time off.

Last year, when I began running was around the same time I restarted my practices and now running has dovetailed with hatha yoga as well. In an intangible sort of way, there seems to be a gathering of forces inwards.

Today’s mileage: 4.3km (27.55) I could have done a 5 today.
