I’ve been enjoying my runs lately and the crazy fear of not being able to complete a run is waning.

Figured it was time to up the ante a bit and get out of the cocoon I was getting quite cozy in. So I asked Coach for help and got out for a run with him today. At the end of a 5K, he said that I did it in under half an hour. I didn’t want o know how much time but it was a feeling of sweet victory. Something similar to the first time I did a 5K. Truth be told, at many points during the run, I felt like throwing a tantrum and sitting on the ground with arms and legs folded and refusing to move. But all those mutinous thoughts were washed away in the glow after the run.

Lesson: breathe.
