I had a good run today. Managed to catch the group around the corner. I feel like an outsider on the fringes. Guess, I’m too much of a loner to really be part of a group.
Started together and a few of the regulars smoothly trotted up and beyond and I found myself thinking I’m so slow. Then I quickly corrected myself, I just about got started, these guys have been doing this for months.
Anyways, my discovery today was on how an upright posture helped in fueling my run. I could breathe better. I get all winded up when I don’t have enough oxygen and then the mini panic starts and I start to give up. Feel really good about today.
Anyways, thinking of doing a slow 8k this Sunday.
