I didn’t run today.

Had a late dinner last night and turned off the lights past 1am. I thought I would run in the morning but decided against it when I woke up as I felt tired. 

A friend was recently sharing how she would let it go and stay up late on Fridays because it was the weekend and how that would spiral into a feeling of being wasted. I completely understand. Been there so many times myself. Last night was one of those. Just excess. 

I swing to extremes, either go crazy running all out or else nothing. It’s a challenge to walk the middle path and keep the balance. I guess after the mad swinging, it has to come to a steady rhythm somewhere in the middle sooner or later.
