It’s actually very simple. All I need to do is walk out of my door and my legs do the rest.
All the doubts, the questions, the laziness disappear once I start walking and reach the point where my feet automatically start to run. I wasn’t sure about whether I wanted to run 5k or 6k today. I thought I’d decide when I get to the 2.5k point. I decided to turn to complete a 5k run.
About half a mile from my finishing line, I gave up for like 20 steps before I told myself that I just have to finish this run and not give up. It didn’t matter if I ran slower than I normally walked. I was going to run and run I did, all the way to the finishing.
